My Other Gym

You know about this gym and many of you go to the same kind!  Yay Us!

Because of the wet weather my normal “gym” has been pretty hard to get to because of the mud.  So I walked my alternative gym!  It’s just as great IMHO!

It starts out with a steep, yet short climb:

Then we walk along one side of the reservoir:

At least there’s pavement.  While we walk we listen to  Pandora!  Love.

I love to listen to music I like.  John Mayor, Plain White T’s, Jack Johnson.  Oh yeah, I have always been a James Taylor, Bonnie Raitt and Van Morrison fan too!  Old School.

At the back of the res, we get some nice pics!

Birds.

The lone squawky Hawk.

Turtle.

And this tree!  How many times do you see trees during the day on everything and everywhere?

I see single, solitary trees all the time.  I wonder what the universe is trying to say!  I see them on clothes, jewelry, art and in nature!

Beautiful sky with path and water.

Keeping it going.

And then back around.

See the hill back down up near the right?

This walk takes about 15 minutes.  It’s a good way to break up the day.

Anything to get me out of my cubby and into nature is great by me!

Blogging and WALKING my way thru a chapter 13 right?

  1. Love Weezer! 🙂 You’re so lucky you have awesome weather like that to walk around outside in…I fear the last of our good weather is on its way out after tomorrow. 😦

  2. Walking is my favorite source of exercise and method of clearing my head. It is so relaxing AND free! I’ve been to Jim Morrison’s grave at the Père Lachaise Cemetery in Paris. Ol’ Lizard King, Mr. Mojo Risin’ had quite a defiled grave by his fans, unfortunately .

    • I agree, walking works for me. I also have a little area in the backroom at work that I cleared out and have a few weights and an old pc set up to run DVDs. I use it occasionally too, but I LOVE getting out side and clearning the cobwebs!
