When you can do this, you can forget about it all! What tax bill, what Bankruptcy.
Be prepared to get lost in these pics!
There’s lots of them, but you will enjoy! I promise!
Here we go. Up the 101, North 45 minutes to Santa Barbara, Gorgeous DAY!
We got to here in no time flat and pulled out our map and plans!
We hit up the first place:
All for a good cause:
But I didn’t see anything I had to have, moving on:
This place was fun. And so clean. All of the places today were so organized, I couldn’t believe it!
Furniture and misc.
Seriously great stuff, but the only thing I bought is 3 little jars for taking things in my lunch. About 3.00
Driving through town:
We stumbled onto a fleamarket!
I almost bought this table for 15.00 but decided to pass. It didn’t have the sewing machine.
But for 15.00 I could have painted it white and sold it for 100.00!
We didn’t buy anything, moving on.
Then more thrifting:
Now here I found a brand new set of white sheets for 13.00! And a blue hand blown glass pitcher for 2.00! I could not pass either up. I know, sheets at a thrift store, but really, BRAND NEW and so SOFT!!!
Next, our last one!
Again, really organized.
Again, I almost bought that chair. It was 30.00, sturdy and in good condition. But One, I don’t need a chair and Two, somebody glued in the seat! NIce Chair though!
Wow, does that bring back memories or what.
So much great stuff in the thrift stores up here, and very clean. I was very picky.
We decided to head out to Stearns Wharf. I haven’t been on it in a couple of years!
The view from the wharf is to die for. Enjoy! No words needed.
I love my state. Mmkay!
Now to the hotel to check in.
Does this guy look familiar?
This place is nice! Not the kind of place you get to check in after a day of thrift store shopping! 😉
Now I am all tucked in and just taking it easy. I took a lot of pics but won’t bore you with them all.
That is my view!
It is my favorite view!
I can handle this.
Oh.. one last thing. A mosaic!
And a collage!
A craft and art fair on the beach. Then home to do laundry and get ready for another work week.
Until then, I am in Paradise!
Stress, what stress?
