Credit Score, Update & 52 Week Challenge

The last time I checked my credit score in February, it was:

When I logged into  today, it is:

The score has increased a few points.   I don’t know why.  Maybe it’s just the passing of time.  I am not complaining.

I hope it continues to increase because someday I might need it, hopefully not!

My intention is to never use it again, but that is probably unrealistic.  Never is a long time.

JIC, I would like to see it improve over the next 4.5 years, or for the life of this Chapter 13 and beyond.

In the meantime.  I have started that 52 Week Savings Challenge!  Instead of using a jar,  (which you know I really like, more on that sometime) I have decided a large envelope would work better.

I taped the chart to the outside of the envelope and will date it as I go.

I plan to do what reader Steph  mentioned, the Yahtzee method!  For instance, this week I put in $1.00 and next week I’ll select one of the larger amounts to put in.  ( I need to see what I can squeeze from my budget ).

It will be easier at the end of the year not having to come up with all those larger amounts each week consecutively.

You’ll see, I’ll post how I do it.

Sunday I started off with a dollar.  It’s right before payday for me and lots of stuff is due.

Like I said, need to see what I can SQUEEZE out next Sunday for the challenge.

Are you up for it, did you get your chart ready?

Let’s save some money!

On another subject, Lien Strip.  My court date is next Tuesday!  Wish me luck.
