First Day of Fall – Carnival

It’s official, it’s the first day of fall!  What a great day to go to the annual neighborhood country fair!

The weather was in the 70s today, perfect!

This is the cutest little fair, we go every year just to pick up some cheapie finds!

They have cute old fashioned games for the kids.

They have a great market place and always sell all kinds of stuff!

I bought this to go with my costume this year.

I plan on going in my leopard pajamas and wearing these:

For $7.00 I have my costume all figured out and it will be way more comfortable than last year.  Remember the Pepto Princess.  ugh… what was I thinking?

They have rides and food but I’m usually heading to the marketplace and out with my bounty.

I bought this little guy!

And he is sitting on my new (used) end tables.

Here’s a better picture of the end tables.  Both for $100.00.  I’ve been wanting to get rid of the mismatched I had and today I ran into these in a consignment store.  Perfect.

I also found a basket at the junk store for $3.00 and filled it full of craft store (50 % off, plus 15% off total) fall decor.

After seeing the cute decor at the fair, I got sucked into it.

Check out the babe they had at the gambling hall!

I really love this fair and next year I plan on going at 3:00 when it opens to get the good stuff from the market place!

The early bird gets the fall worms.

See you tomorrow, happy fall!
