$125.00 Sure Helps!

Hello Hello!

I sold the keyboard!   Craigslist was a bust, so today I decided  to put my saleable items in the employee newsletter.  The lady who does the newsletter bought the keyboard before it even hit the press!   I sold it to her for $100.00!

Yesterday, out of the blue, a $25.00 check showed up in my mailbox.  It came from a class action lawsuit that I had forgotten all about. Thank you very much.

So there it is, I have $125.00 to help me out of my self imposed bind.  It should take care of gas and I need to stop at the 99 cent store this weekend and get toothpaste, paper towels and deodorant.  Thank goodness for that store!

I’m not lying, it’s still tight, even after next payday,  but at least my mortgage is covered and the trustee will get her money too.  I just have to be super careful cause I need to give my kid some money for school clothes in August and school registration fees too.

OMG, it never ends. I don’t know how thought I could ever save a dime during this BK. Oh wait, if I didn’t have her golf costs, I probably could.  But I just can’t take that away now!  Not an option.  Oh and wait again, if I didn’t go on vacation I could save that too!

I put the laptop in the Penny Saver and the Ukulele in the employee newsletter.  If it doesn’t sell, I will put it in the Penny saver in a couple of weeks.  I need to sell our Wii now.  Wii never use it! Winking smile

I can’t think of anything else I can sell right now, but after the garage sale I’m sure I will find something I didn’t get rid of!

Hope you are well and hanging in there.

  1. I just want you to know how much I enjoy your blog! You are an inspiration and I am rooting for your success. Your daughter is very blessed to have a mother so willing to support her interests. Continued good luck!

    • Sandra, thank you so much for that positive and wonderful comment. I do really appreciate that and thank you for the best wishes!
      Big hugs!

  2. Nice! Glad you persisted in trying to sell the keyboard. Does your area have Facebook page for selling used items in your local area? We’ve had some luck using ours in the past.
