Tea For Two & a Skunk Too~

Hello there!  Feeling better today, a little.  To be honest, I think my back hurts cause I have put on a few pounds, it always seems to be that way.  Only a few pounds makes a diff!  Know what I mean?

Today, I want to show you how I make my iced tea.  I don’t drink a lot of it, but I do think its better than soda.  I have found it really hard to find pre-made iced tea that is decaf, so I came up with my own solution.  I would like to make it as Sun Tea.  Maybe I will try that next time it is empty.  Can you make sun tea in a plastic container though?  Mmmm probably not!  Oh well, this works!

Here’s what I do.

I use four regular ‘ol tea bags.  Decaf!

I open them up and toss them into the pot of cold water on the stove.  It can be any temp really.  Just toss’em in.  I prolly should cut off the tags.

Bring it to a near boil, cause if you boil it, it will boil over.  This amount of water is perfect for my container.

After it comes to a near boil give it a stir and turn off the heat.  That’s it.

Let it sit for hours.  Or whenever it’s cool enough to pour into your container.

Put it in the fridge and there you have it.  An inexpensive way to make decaf tea.  I had some friends over a few months ago and they drank the whole container.  I told them how I make it and I think that’s how they do this now too.

I was able to take pictures of my Wii yesterday.  Cross fingers its sells.  It gets to be old technology quick these days.

I can’t believe that was just sitting on a shelf and never getting used.  Its time to sell when that happens because if you don’t sell it, nobody will want it.  Wish me luck!

Back to work today.  So much going on at work.  Never a dull moment.

I hope you are having a good week.  Mine has been crazy or wait… maybe I’m just cRaZy!

Today I went for my walk and there was a distressed baby skunk up on the curb!  It was really out of it. I called wildlife rescue and they came and picked it up.  The doctor called me (cause he couldn’t find where it was) and when I talked to him he said that I could call him tomorrow to see how it is doing.  I sure hope we caught it in time!

I can’t leave a helpless animal, I just can’t!  Remember these guys!  I love animals!

This was a baby animal!!!  I will let you know what the doctor says tomorrow.  Please cross fingers!
