Homecoming Hair

Hello!  Yesterday I told you about curling my daughters hair, as a dry run for homecoming dance!

Her hair is so long!  Beautiful if I don’t say so myself.  (I need to trim it as I look at it now)!

I got out the hot rollers and the hairspray.

I love these rollers.  I paid $5.00 for them last summer at a garage sale.  BRAND NEW!

I got her all rolled up!

And then when they cooled, out they came!

Ugh, she hated it.

It was way too curly, but she didn’t understand that it will all fall out due to the weight of her length in no time at all.

But later, she hot ironed the top and straightened the top and this is what she made out of it.

So pretty.  She said “MOM,  I JUST WANT THE ENDS WAVY, I DON’T WANT TO LOOK LIKE ANNIE!”

Okay Okay! I get it now.

On Wednesday we will get her a real curling iron wand thing and she can try it again herself.

I hope that works!

I gotta say girls are fun, but oh my, they are a lot of work and a lot of money

  1. Beautiful hair regardless if it is straight or curly. The sun will come out, tomorrow. Bet your bottom dollar… crack me up!

  2. She has beautiful hair! My hair is about her length and if she has a flat iron she wont need a curling wand too. I use my flat iron for both straightening and curling just the ends. There are plenty of you tube videos on how to do it. It’s my fav way to just curl the ends while having the top straight and I seriously get compliments all.the.time. and bonus only need 1 item.
