I remember well in my last life when I went to the dry cleaners every weekend to pick up a load of freshly pressed clothing and happily hang it in my freshly washed, shiny car as I ran off to do my coupon-less, list-less grocery shopping and other errands that young, single, child free, carefree women do. Mani/Pedi anyone? Shopping? Ahhhh, the good old days.
Fancy Schmancy!
Those days are long gone. I can’t remember the last time I went to the dry cleaners. I can’t remember the last time I had a mani/pedi either!
These are the good old days now!
Yep, an iron and spray starch!
A pile of wrinkled clothes!
And PRESS-to!
All you have to do is put on a movie you love but have seen before so you don’t have to watch every single scene.
And before you know it, you are done!
There, freshly pressed and it didn’t cost me a dime! Plus it made me feel productive last week when I was so sick at home anyway!
Oh.. the movie I watched/listened to was Father of the Bride! So damn cute!
Anything written/directed by Nancy Meyer has my vote!
Have a great day friends.
Me too, I iron all out clothes and enjoy the process.
Its rather relaxing and I sometimes wonder if it a lost skill. I learned to iron standing on chairs I was so young. Im afraid my 15 year old would burn herself! Thats my fault I guess!
It’s amazing that we both did posts on ironing the same day.
Maybe its the weather, just a good thing to do inside! Its raining here tonight!!
