Happy New Year! 2015

Here we go!  A new year, a new beginning and one year closer to discharge!

My discharge in 2017 sounds so much closer now that we are in 2015 then it did when I started this journey in 2012!  A few more months and it will be half way!

I can hardly believe it.  I’m doing this by putting one foot in front of the other on a day by day basis.  Speaking of which…

I started my day slowly.  Lazing in bed with a cup of coffee and two fat cats.  Then  I got up and putzed around the condo – then I took a nap!  Talk about a slow start.  I finally made myself get off my duff!

I got on my shoes!

Put on my fitbit:

And hit the road!

Such a beautiful day too!

It actually got so warm, I crossed the street to be in the shade!

I got my 10,000 steps in.

That’s a pretty good start.

See, all lit up!

Now its time to relax a little.

Kid has a one day golf tourney tomorrow, I’m looking forward to that.  I love it when she plays.  She played with her dad today and did pretty well.  Tomorrow however, she is playing in a country club and obviously she didn’t get a chance to practice there.  She played it last year and she needs to go back and face her demon!

We are off to a good start for 2015.  I have my food planned, bills paid and a budget!

Life is good, we got this!

2015 is gonna be a good year!

  1. Happy New Year. My daughter gave me a Fitbit for Christmas. I need to get it out and figure how it works. More important I need to use the thing.
