Holy Moly

Rockin rolly!

Hi!  Not much going on here.  Except this!

Tomorrow is payday, I am on empty and I am eating as much out of the pantry as I can to stretch the  buck, but still I found $40.00 to buy some shelving at the hardware store.

Yes, even sometimes I gotta wonder๐Ÿ˜!

You know how much I love the new art space?  Well I LOVE IT.

But look:

Its just a junky mess!  So I got the bright idea to get some kind of organization!

This is what I came up with:

Great right?  Look closer:

There are some HUGE holes left because my kids dad didnt know how to use the butterfly thingies.  He ended up screwing them into the studs!  It worked.

Hey whatever!  I really dont care because these are gonna stay up until I sell the place and I can fix it then.

No worries!  I got shelves!

Well, actually I don’t!  I think they are too short so I am going to exchange them for longer ones tomorrow! Heavy sigh! Its always something.

Heres my space now:

That didn’t stop me!

I have had these watercolors since I can’t remember!

I caught them just in time before they went bad, dried up!  One kind of exploded when I opened it.

Anyway, I played tonight and painted each one in my book.

I really enjoyed them!  I used the left overs to make these cards.  I just had to see how they looked and felt compared to acrylic.

I can use the cards for something.  I also painted over this awful canvas:  see the green one by the wall?

I have no idea what I am doing!  But I learned never to waste paint and I try to put it someplace!  ๐Ÿ˜

Anyway, tomorrow night it will all come together.  It should be easier to maintain the mess.

This making a mess is really helping me destress!  Those holes in the wall would have put me over the edge a year ago!

Shrug!

Holy moly!

  1. Those wall anchor things always seem weird and require a fairy big hole in the wall. I never felt comfortable using them. I saw on a Best New Product spotlight, a different kind of anchor that left a little smaller hole. I’m sure with how crafty you are you can make a ladybug or butterfly or something to cover the holes. Looking forward to seeing the shelves in action. I love home-improvement, organization type stuff.

  2. Hi KimC!!! Yep thats exactly what I thought, just cover them up and move on.

I enjoy that space but I think I will enjoy it more with some kind of org.

    Holes – schmoles! ๐ŸŒบ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜
