$1200.00 Increase

First of all HELLO!

Secondly I know how fortunate I an to have medical insurance at all these days.  Especially with an expensive chronic illness!!!

But this is still gonna leave a mark!  Mine went from nada to $91.29 a month.

I GET IT, I KNOW!  ITS STILL CHEAP!  But I can still feel the pain.

Good thing I dont have more than 1 dependent!

It seems like EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING has increased but my income in so long.

I do get a 2% increase in January.  2% of nuthin is still nuthin. And now that has been wiped out!  Thank you!

Its a good thing I have been in training the last few years to be Po cause that is exactly what I will be for the rest of my life🌸

Heavy sigh!

    • Lol! It sure is! Actually being a child raised by a single mom, it has always been my norm! Shame on me for having grandios ideas in my 20s, 30s and 40s. Now back to reality in my 50s and beyond! πŸ˜πŸ‘πŸŒΊ

  1. Welcome to reality! DH & I are young retirees, paying $1,000/MONTH with a $6,000 per PERSON out of pocket deductible! Count your blessings!

    • 1 2 3 4 to infinity!!!!

Wow! I bet you wish you didn’t retire young but “young” is relative these daze!

6000!!!!! I think mine is either 500 or 1000. Will be looking that up tomorrow!

πŸ™πŸ˜”. I sure hope you are healthier than I am!

  2. The part that I always find entertaining is they tell us, we are getting a raise in one breath then give give us the new health care rates in the next breath. I can’t complain what I am paying but the pay raises when they happen aren’t keeping up with the new cost. I am always working on the budget.

    • Yes , thats what happens. I actually havent had a raise in 8 years I think. We got a 7 % increase but that was used to pay for 7% increase in retirement that we pay for now instead of the compAny. It was a wash. At least. I cant complain as I have always had steady employment and hoping to retire in 4 years and move where I can live cheaper. I was looking online today to see if I can live on 30k a year! Its not gonna be easy but some large families do in this country.

Our standards have lowered! Its very scary! :/(

  3. Yep, PO is normal as far as I can tell. Sorry you have this unexpected budget issue but you got this girl. You’ll figure out a way to make it work.

    • HI THERE!!! YOU PAY THAT FOR JUST YOU?? One person?

What the heck is going on? I have always been fortunate enough to have employer paid medical as well as dental and vision. πŸ˜”

I hate what is happening or has happened.

      Nice to see you! Xoxo
