First of all, looking at loans and scholorships, but will do that in another post!  Kids golfing today, getting ready for a tourney

Just had to show you this:

My patio went from this:

To this:

Um… I sold all my plants to the neighbor across the way!

Two reasons, maybe three reasons… ok four.

1) I want the new patio to stay nice for when I sell it!

2) I want to show how big it is when I sell it.

3) I wanted the $$$

4) I don’t want to take care of that many plants for awhile.

I kept the ones I love the most and

But I am feeling kind of sorry! Whoops!   It looks so barren!

It does look bigger and makes my living space look bigger too.

I will get used to it.

Hope you are having a great weekend!

    • Thank you! I actually moved everything over by the windows and it looks better. It even makes my living room space look bigger when the curtains are open.

One hot summer left here and I am out!!!!

      Thanks for popping by!!

  1. Oh, Debtgirl, I think your after picture looks so nice. My place has a lot of clutter and seeing before & after pictures like that inspires me to do the same. Lots to do here, with very little free time so I’ve been using my own 15 minutes a day challenge for 2017. It’s amazing how those 15 minutes have added up. Thanks for sharing with us.

    • I am getting used to it and really liking the space! I will get more when I finally move to my forever home. Chances are I will be moving to a really small apt before that happens so downsizing is a good thing!

  2. I really like the open look on the patio. If you are missing plants you could do more of the hanging baskets. That would give you greenery, privacy, and not take up any footprint of the patio. The patio certainly doesn’t need it though – looks great. Hope all is well with you.

    • Hi Terri,

Its all good. Just not enough time in the day!

I miss blogging and will do an updateb blog post maybe tomorrow.

🌺 I hope you are doing well! Hows it going?

      • Glad to hear you’re ok. Can relate to not having enough hours in a day. Will be really, really happy when I can retire. 😁

        • I hope you are close! I never thought retirement would be so important, but with age, it really is the only thing I think about! I am so tired!!!! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ˜³πŸ˜³πŸ˜³

  3. Glad to hear you are well. I have missed your blogs. I too am in a bad situation at work and am counting down to retirement also. It’s nice to know someone else is in a similar situation.

Hope to read your entries again soon.
