I can hardly believe we are here!  This has been and probably will remain the most difficult part of my life.  At least I hope so!  I do not want to have to endure this kind of stress for this amount of time again! Ever!

My last payment is this month!  OMG!   I just typed that!  Pinch me!

It has not actually been taken out of my acct but its there and I have registered it in my check book.

So now I wait!  I know that it can take a while for things to actually start happening but I will keep you posted!

Get ready for a party!!!

It’s Getting So Close!

Just one more payment!!!

Sorry I have been MIA lately but I have really gotten into my arts and crafts and it sure is way more fun to focus on than the daily grind of this BK!

Its so close now!!!  Next month should prove to be interesting!

This weekend I plan to clean out the garage and get it ready to use as storage as I gear up to sell.   That is my goal!  Just get out of the condo before the market takes a dive!

I will post before and after pics of the garage this weekend.

Other then that just plugging along!

23 Days!

Hello Hello!

I am here, I am busy and I am so excited!

23 Days from now will be my 5th year anniversary for the day I filed for a Five Year Long Chapter 13 Bankruptsy!  FIVE YEARS AGO!

It was one of scariest things I have ever done!

Throughout the whole process it did not get any easier!  I sustained the fear of failing every single day!

Even to this day, with basically only weeks to go I still fear something could happen to wipe out the last 5 years hard work.

My brain is funny like that.

So to combat it I continue to put one foot in front of the other and do what needs to be done.

Shortly into it I realized I had no choice but to make it work, and its working!

I just wanted to stop by and say hello!  I have been busy and time is finally flying!

Lots to share soon!

Thanks for sticking it out with me!

Bigger Than The Eclipse

The Eclipse a pretty big deal!  But I have news that is an even bigger deal!!

My daughter got her first hole in one yesterday during a practice round!

I was not with her but her dad and another group were!  She cried!  It must have been incredible for her!!

She is so happy right now, the happiest I have ever seen her!  JC was the best decision we could have made!

In other news…  yes we are coming to an end at Sixty Payments!

Not sure what the future will bring but I do know I will keep it going for at least another year!

I talked to my lawyer and there is still the lien strip to contend with but he seems to have it handled!

I will touch base soon!  I know its been hit and miss around here lately.

I am working on that payment necklace, it will be beautiful by the time we add in the last loop and we have out disharge party!!!

Have a great day!!!

“That’s Cheap!” ┬áHuh?!?

Hi guys!  It’s so funny how are persoective changes as we learn our lessons!

A Great example:

Saturday on my way to visit my kid and get her a new twin bed, I decided to stop at some garage sales!  It was early so why not!

I immediatly found a bed set!  $25.00 for everything.  Unfortunatly kid didnt like the headboard.

So I got back on the road and decided to stop by the Salvation Army where we got her last mattress, brand new.

The cost of a mattess, boxspring and frame:  just over $200.00!

When I told a friend they said “wow thats cheap!”

Um not compared to 25.00.  Fortunatly I took the lady’s number and I called her and I set it up so my kids dad could pick it up the next day!

Now that is CHEAP!  The mattress was only 2 years old and in perfect condiotion.

I got a topper and sprayed it with Lysol anyway!

Because she still needs a laptop!  Well, I took care of that too!  $200.00 at Best Buy.  They had a one day sale to compete with Amazon Prime.  Its a Lenovo.  Its not the Mac Book that all the other kids have but my kid is fine with that.

I need to do a few things to it before I give it to her but its great!!!

There is always ways to make things happen if you don’t expect to buy the best or the top of the line.

Sometimes I feel like the less expensive options are actually the best option, even if I were rolling in it.

I still have tuition and books to worry about!

Thank god I don’t need anything that I don’t already have!

If you are just starting out this journey just be wise, live and have a nice life, get what you need, but also get what you want!  You have to make this livable!

Now go get some gladiolas at the market, they are $2.00!!!
